actually, we have a BioDiaper, a full disposable, as well as the BioSoaker that goes into our hybrid shell. The BioDiaper is great for me when I need that break like you mentioned, or when I travel. Best of luck with past resolutions.

I found this website really helpful for comparison: http://www.theportablebaby.com/carrierfeatures.html I'm expecting my first, so I don't have any experience to offer... trying to figure all of this out myself! :)

I tried their Bio Liners years ago, back when they were still under the Grobaby name. After writing this article I am definitely planning on writing an article outlining the biodegradable liner options on the cloth diapering market as another comparison and I think I will include the Bio Diaper there. Maybe this all calls for another week or two of disposables to put all the brands I am curious about to the test!

With my first daughter he was there for all of the pregnancy but had to go active a few days before her birth. I was unable to move with him due to being so far along, so he actually missed the birth by 3 hours. With our second he missed all of the pregnancy but was able to be there for the birth (and actually deliver her) so we figure, combined, he has a complete pregnancy/birth experience!
It seems with kids they will always miss something, he missed our oldest learning how to talk, so we are hoping he will get to experience that with our second. Maybe the key is to keep having more kids so they can get a chance to experience everything! jk :)
Thank you for your sacrifice as a military mom! It is tough but you are appreciated! I look forward to following your blog!

Hooray! I think the hardest time to be apart is not the pregnancy or the infant months (although that stinks as well), but the births, so I am so happy your husband was able to be home for that. If I ever find myself complaining about him being gone when my daughter was an infant I have to remind myself that I am thankful he was able to be at the births of both of our children.

Wow that is really neat! I had no idea about it! We are actually stationed at Camp Lejeune currently. My husband deployed last feb right after I found out I was pregnant. Luckily he was able to come home a month before our daughter was born!
