Wordless Wednesday: Now This is What I Call a Diaper Soak

My soak water never even gets dirty – do you think I don’t really even need to soak? It just ends up sorta cloudy from the soap, but never dirty looking, even after 24 hours! I do it about once every three months, when I start getting some stinkies. Then I rinse on hot a million times. I think maybe I could just skip the soak…..

Do you notice an improvement in the stinkies? This is actually my first bathtub soak, believe it or not. I usually just do an overnight soak in the washing machine. One thing you may notice are tiny bubbles from detergent build up (when soaking with just water), but you probably won’t see dirty water from a soak– since you’re soaking clean diapers. I guess the bottom line is, it depends on WHAT buildup is causing the stinkies. That will determine what product you use with your overnight soak or bathtub stripping!

  2. I like to soak them over night with “Rockin Green’ Cloth Diaper and Laundry Detergent”. Works well.
