The First Team Umizoomi DVD is Out

My daughter loves Umizoomi, although I don’t think there is a Nick Jr. show she is not obsessed with. I love how this series emphasizes math and my daughter was introduced to patterns, counting backwards and some other useful lessons from this fun-filled trio. This is the first release of Team Umizoomi episodes and it includes the recent special Blue Mermaid special. What is it about mermaids that girls love so much? My daughter goes around acting like a mermaid or the villain Squidee by placing “booby traps” around the house.

Team UmizoomiTeam Umizoomi, was released on DVD Tuesday, June 28th.  The new DVD will take viewers on adventures to learn about numbers, patterns, and important early math concepts.  The DVD contains four episodes, special features, a Math Mission card for on-the-go math problem solving and the guest voice of platinum-selling Jive recording artist Jordin Sparks.

In addition, this DVD includes a one-year free subscription to Parents Magazine. I am proud to say I have never paid for my Parents magazine, because there are always great opportunities like this to score it for free!

Samples of the products mentioned in the review were provided for this review. No other compensation was received and the views and opinions are my own.
