Veripur Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer Provides Continuous Germ Protection Up to Four Hours

Now that I am back on the diaper bag carrying, frequent diaper changing band wagon, a hand sanitizer is a must on-the-go. A product that definitely catches the eye, especially with the abuse my skin takes during the winter months, is a hand sanitizer that moisturizes. With so many alcohol-based formulas on the market it almost seems unreal to have the two features married, but I have really enjoyed not having to carry a tube of hand lotion and sanitizer in my already stuffed diaper bag and with two kids to juggle. I have been using it as both a moisturizer on my winter chapped hands and when I need some germ protection.

Another unique feature that this new products boasts is 4-hour protection, not just when you initially put it on. How awesome is that? Because we all know that there are plenty of germs that we encounter between diaper changes both from our babies and in the environment, so it’s nice to know that this product offers long lasting germ protection. And with flu and cold season still looming, I want to keep as many germs away from my new baby and toddler as much as possible.

I don’t know the science behind how the formula works, and have not pulled out the petri dishes to test its effectiveness on bacteria, but am happy that there is a product like this now on the market. I was happy with my first experiences with it and have it tucked on the outside pocket of my diaper bag for easy access as I continue to use it this flu season. More About VERIPUR:
Hand sanitizer has never felt so moisturizing.  Move over drying, sticky, and smelly gel hand sanitizers! VERIPURHand Sanitizer Moisturizer, the ground breaking hand sanitizer from Fusion Brands Inc., has just entered the market.  VERIPUR is a non-drying, alcohol-free hand sanitizer that kills 99.9% of germs on contact and continues to protect your hands for up to four hours after application. Plus, moisturizing vitamin E, avocado, jojoba, grape seed oils and natural extracts prevent the dryness often associated with alcohol-based hand sanitizers.  Safe for the entire family, VERIPUR is your germ-free, worry-free protection that quickly kills germs and protects your hands longer than any other product available.
The majority of hand sanitizers currently on shelves use alcohol to disinfect hands but they do not continue to protect hands after application. The alcohol evaporates quickly after use so your hands are not protected after application. Moreover, these alcohol-based sanitizers dry the skin leaving it even more susceptible to germs. VERIPUR is alcohol free and with the added hydrating ingredients including avocado, jojoba and grape seed oil, VERIPUR also performs double duty as a daily moisturizer.
How VERIPUR with SafetyDerm® patented technology works:
  • Deeply cleans and disinfects the skin
  • Creates an invisible, undetectable shield on the surface of the skin that kills 99.9% of germs on contact and then continues to fight germs for four hours
VERIPUR Benefits:
  • Kills 99.9% of germs upon application
  • Four Hour Continuous germ protection after application
  • Non-drying, alcohol free
  • Contains hydrating moisturizers
  • Helps prevent the spread of germs
  • Tested and proven effective against 20 commonly found strains of bacteria and four viruses
  • Convenient size for travel and to bring anywhere – the home, office, beach, sporting events and gym

Nice! I do the same thing with my antibacterial alcohol…gel? It's a generic one, but I like the idea of having it work for four hours!
Thank you for telling us about it!

  2. I just received a direct mail on this product and must agree it sounds very impressive. Too impressive, in fact. I am seeing lots of reviews on personal blog sites such as this raving about it. But it is highly concerning that no one seems to be taking the time to check out the active ingredient and just how "pure and safe" it really is. Since it binds to the skin for four hours one must assume a potential for increased absorption and consumption over multiple meals and snacktime.

Here is what the CDC says about the key ingredient in Veripur: "The substance is toxic to aquatic organisms. It is strongly advised that this substance does not enter the environment.

Personal protection: P2 filter respirator for harmful particles. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Sweep spilled substance into containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place.

Separated from food and feedstuffs Dry. Store in an area without drain or sewer access.

    Signal: Danger
    Harmful if swallowed
    Causes skin irritation
    Causes serious eye damage
    Toxic to aquatic life"
