Add Color & Dimension to Your Nursery or Home with Vinyl Wall Decals from Dezign with a Z

The walls in my daughter’s room are pretty boring and although I have two smaller pictures hung by the window, the walls are otherwise bare. I have gotten name letters for her, but they ended up on her long dresser (you can see some of them in the photo to the left) and I used to have a photo hung above the long dresser when we used it as a changing table, but it fell and broke into pieces one day. I decided not to hang a new frame after this since I would hate to have had it fall on my daughter and decided it wasn’t the safest place for a frame. So the wall was once again bare and boring and has remained that way until now.

When I was approached by Dezign with a Z to do a review I was surprised at how many different decals and sizes were available and at the wide range of applications and ideas from their product selection and photo gallery. Although my daughter’s room is far from being the only space needing some dimension and decoration in our home, I decided to decorate the wall space above her long dresser once again which will soon be baby brother’s changing table when he moves out of our bedroom.

I loved the decal we had the opportunity to review (pictured above), but they have a wide range of decals that are perfect for children’s spaces, as well as floral abstract and other themes for other rooms in the home. I fell in love with many of the other designs like the cherry blossom branches that would fit nicely in our living room or other rooms in the house and the writables look like they would be both fun and functional. Vinyl wall decals are a great way to add color, decoration or dimension to a room without adding holes or requiring expensive framing jobs. I think they are particularly great for homes with kids and pets, because you don’t have to worry about frames or glass getting knocked around or posing a hazard to them in their bedrooms or playrooms.

The decal was surprisingly easy to install and although I waiting until an evening my husband could help me put it up I probably could have managed it on my own. It didn’t take more than 5 minutes to put up, although you will want to thoroughly read the directions prior to make sure you are applying it properly and securely for the specific surface you are working with. The wall clock decals are a fun, new spin on a clock and the wall mural decals and custom decals ensure that you will find just what you need for any room or home. How cool could it be to have a family monogram or personal, uploaded photo in vinyl form? I was impressed that vinyl could be more than just lettering and the decals have a much wider range of choices and applications than I ever imagined before exploring the possibilities during this review.
