From your favorite pregnancy resource, What to Expect The First Year is jam packed with all of the questions you have once you bring baby home. From growth and development to feeding and sleeping tips, it covers just about any topic you may come across during the first year of baby’s life. This second edition has been thoroughly revised to cover the most up-to-date issues and recent research in pediatric medicine.
The book starts with information and resources as you prepare for baby’s arrival and starts with newborn care and questions, after which it goes month-by-month in a similar layout and style as the familiar What to Expect When You’re Expecting book. It also includes chapters that address adopted children, special needs, siblings and parents. I think that it is easy to read, thoroughly covers the majority of topics that you will need and is a great resource.
For additional articles, resources and message boards, visit the First Year section on their website WhatToExpect.com where you can also find the What to Expect The First Year and other WTE books for 25% off the cover price. Have a specific question you can’t find the answer to in the book or online? You can visit the Ask Heidi section and read what other parents are asking or submit a question of your own.
