Sage Diaper, although a new brand, is a company formerly known as Diaperraps a family-owned company founded in 1983. They have seen and been involved in the evolution of cloth diapers over the past 25 years, and their experience and wisdom shows in their new products and brand line.
I had the opportunity to review their Sure Fit Pocket Diaper and One Step Diaper System, both which use their Snap It diapers (what you would know better as inserts). The Sure Fit is a two-size diapering system, with side snapping closures, adjustable rises and the snap-in insert makes laundry time a lot easier. They secure with two snaps, so they stay put and it saves the digging for the matching inserts! The inserts are available in a microfleece-topped micro terry and Hemp Organic version and these same inserts can be used with both systems.
Although the Snap It diapers (inserts) are meant to be stuffed inside the pocket of the Sure Fit diapers, they could just as easily be used outside of the pocket as an all-in-two system like you would in their One Step Diaper system. This would be a great option if you want an all-in-two diapering system to save additional money with the fit of the two-size system and snap closures rather than the velcro available in the One Step Diaper system. Either way it’s great that you have the option to use it as an AI2 or pocket style diaper to switch for different uses, preferences, changed preferences or different children.
Between the two styles of diapers I loved the Sure Fit Pocket diaper the best, no question about it, although the One Step diaper does allow a more affordable one size, rather than two size, system. The One Step Diaper system is only available in Velcro closures, and although the Velcro is on the softer, thinner side, which has its benefits, it’s durability in incomparable to the snap closure system. If you’re on a budget it would be a good option, otherwise I would recommend using the two size pocket diaper system either as a traditional or all-in-two diapering system.
Overall, I love the Sure Fit Pocket diaper and there is plenty of room for my chunky toddler to grow which makes it a great option I can stuff for overnight use. I look forward to putting their Size 1 to the test with my new baby’s arrival.

these diapers sound great… i especially like that they have a 2 size system… i find those tend to fit better than the one size.
