I’m in a nesting mood…

So my de-cluttering, organizing mission combined with my nesting is a dangerous combination! I am “in a mood” as my husband calls it whenever I go off on a cleaning or organizing kick, but I have my pregnancy to blame for it this time around. I have been reorganizing furniture, de-cluttered a bunch after a yard sale and car load of stuff to the Goodwill, and still have a few things on my list to check off. The unfortunate part is that a lot of my organizing and decorating wants “require” new furniture, and although my husband finally gave in to the linen tower I have been eyeing for quite sometime today, the majority of the items will stay on my wishlist until after the baby is born.

It is still fun to window shop though! I have been online today window shopping and comparing prices for a variety of wishlist items, in between updating baby registries and catching up with emails. Although a double stroller and bassinet is higher priority on our current list, I still find myself sauntering off onto other links and websites seeing if I can’t find a steal for something. I have been a big fan of CSN Stores since I had the opportunity to do a review for them earlier this year, and was browsing their sites this week at both baby and household items. Although the farmhouse style and drop leaf tables are lovely, I couldn’t help but notice their Car Seat sale (20% off popular Britax and Chicco brands) or sneak over to their cooking gear to see if there was anything else I wanted to add to my holiday wishlist.

What am I organizing now? Well, the master bedroom is my “headquarters” where anything I need to sort through sits (for days, weeks or months) which I organize and tidy up all the other parts of the house. BUT, since baby will be staying in our room for the first while I need to finish all the projects I’ve started and do away with the piles and boxes of things to make room for a bassinet. Somehow after each box or pile I finish going through another follows, but I have made tons of progress around the house the past few months, so I hope I can get it all done soon to make room for furniture.

I am excited to have been extended the opportunity today to do another smaller review for CSNstores.com (all my product browsing over the past few weeks wasn’t in vain!), so stay tuned as I decide on a baby, holiday or other item to share with you in the near future! In the meantime, if you are in the market for a travel system (car seat and stroller), they have the Britax Chaperone stroller and car seat on sale for $379.99 before the extra 20% off savings (enter Britax20). The Britax Boulevard was the car seat that my daughter was in during our car accident last summer that save her life, so I’m pretty passionate about this brand and think I may end up getting our little man the cow print pattern… With the car seat retail at $229.99 and the stroller at $299.99, this is a steal at around $300 for the set. I almost convinced myself I needed it, then the voice of reason (my husband) reminded me we’re looking for a double stroller…we already have a single one. :-)
