Just One of Those Days….

Some days we feel like super moms and other days we feel worn out and like everything is going wrong (even if not everything is going wrong). Well it was “one of those days” today. Not horrible, I’ve definitely had worse, but definitely wearing and stressful. To end the evening our toilet broke…right when I was supposed to log in to lead the #CDMamas Twitter chat for Swap Mamas. I am feeling this huge guilt that I let mamas down, yet, life happens

I know you are all moms and will inevitably be able to relate and hopefully understand, but it’s not a great feeling to feel that you let people down. I hate this feeling. But sometimes things happen even when we have different plan or Twitter chats scheduled. On the up side, my family is coming to visit tomorrow afternoon for a few days. The down side, they will have to wait until my hubby gets home from work until they can use the bathroom, lol. Maybe I’ll have a super mom day and try and figure out how to fix it myself :-)

If you were on the Twitter chat wondering where in the world I was, know that I am deeply sorry. I will probably toss and turn trying to sleep tonight guilty. But if you want to send good karma for a super mom day tomorrow, maybe you’ll leave me a comment or two of bloggy love to wake up to 😉

  1. Hey, don't lose your perspective – it was just a Twitter chat. No worries! 😉

Girl, you gotta stop the guilt. Madeline (above) said it perfectly, "It was just a Twitter chat". Any mom knows that life indeed does happen! So stop beating yourself up for missing it, and stop worrying. I'm glad it was just a broken toilet and not a medical emergency. You do a great job keeping up with all these moms and taking care of your family, too. Cut yourself a little slack! :-) You're doing great!

  3. Thanks mamas, you really cheered me up some. :-)

  4. my only disappointment was that I didn't win… but because of your blog, I finally got up the courage to join Twitter yesterday.

  5. I have LOTS of "those days"! Hope today was better :)
