It’s summer and the pool seems to be the only saving grace from the hot sun (other than the A/C) and a day at the pool wears the kids out so everyone can take advantage of some afternoons Zzzz’s. But getting in a bathing suit can be a daunting task if your skin is pale from a long winter or you haven’t lost all of that baby weight yet. Tanner skin makes you look thinner, sexier and more beautiful, so follow the Bikini Kitchen recipe to feel great this swimsuit season!
Bikini Kitchen’s Booty Butter Tanning Lotion it not your everyday, run of the mill tanning lotion, if you didn’t already guess that from it’s fun and flirtatious name. It uses Hawaiian Kukui Oil, Kona Coffee Extract, Aloe, Macadamia Nut and other moisturizing oils, and last but not least, it contains vitamins to protect your skin. It is also water resistant and serves as a natural bug repellent, which is a heaven send if you live in bug country like I do.
It is thick enough that you can spread it evenly (no oil stained clothes or carpets like the oils that dribble away from you), and thin enough that it soaks in the skin without feeling slimy. It is great for any skin tone and is not a self tanner, so will not leave you looking orange or streaky. Combine it with your favorite SPF and in the time it takes to whip up some freshly baked goodies, you can have a fabulous summer glow!
