What a hectic week!

Every day and week is hectic as a mom, but this week was a little busier than usual! On top of the normal daily tasks of WAHM-hood, errands, playdates, physical therapy and picnics, my mom stopped in for a whirlwind trip for 3.5 days. I was foolish enough to think I’d get ahead in all my blogging and household “to-do” lists, but of course I got behind instead.

After she left Thursday morning I sorted through and labeled 2 car loads of stuff that I took to a friend’s house today for an all day yard sale, upgraded my laptop to Windows 7, organized the garage again (after getting rid of a bunch of stuff at the yard sale), and am sunburned and exhausted! I also had a new mom stop by and look at all of my cloth diapering gear again, as she is getting ready to wade in the waters of cloth diapering, and that is always fun.

And as always, at the end of the day there is more to do :-) What can I say, I’m a mom.

I love how "to do" lists just get longer, and never shorter! (And I have a sort of passionate hatred for yard sales, and we really need to do one in May… we'll see.)

Btw, I gave you an award on my blog, here http://chiarore.blogspot.com/2010/04/earth-week-and-free-hugs.html :)

Our job is never done and our list just keep growing! But we do it because we love our family!
