New Detergent Comparison Chart

I am almost done with my new detergent comparison chart and just have some fine tuning to do and additional reviews to add over the next few weeks after I post it. I still need to tweak a couple of things and finish listing the ratings, but here is a sneak peek I posted for the time being

  6. Awesome! Looking forward to it. Will you plan on expanding it over time? I know a lot of us use Country Save with mixed results. way to go!

  7. Thanks, this looks amazing! Is there any chance that you could add Country Save to the chart? I would LOVE to see how it compares in all the categories, including price. Thanks so much; we all really appreciate it!!! :)

Wow, that looks amazing! I can't wait to look at the real deal. I'm using bumGenius right now, but I have a toploader and maybe there's a less expensive brand I could try. (Although it's working really well for us and I kind of hate to switch). Maybe. Either way, I am eagerly anticipating the release of the final product. Way to go!

  9. Yes, the final version will have a key (for color coding and symbols), I plan on adding other detergents as I have opportunities to review them, and still have the tweak a few more things on the chart that I am testing out. Stay tuned!

Yay! I can't wait to see the final version either! What a great tool!!!

  11. Hey wonder if you could email me the answer to this: We have switched water, machines, laundry routines and detergents, and are now getting stained diapers. My daughter is also older, so I am wondering if her poo might stain more now than before, or if there might be an issue with something else? I was doing a cold wash with a liq det then a hot wash with a liq det and 2 huge rinses, but that was using a lot of water. switched to a powder det and only used it in the hot wash, then found out I could use just a cold rinse. All the sudden, stains everywhere. Inserts, the insides of the diapers, and never had that issue before. i don't want to blame the detergent (it does not leave the soap bubbles on the inside of the diapers like the liq did)–they are getting clean and rinsed, but now the stains. So, help?

I am trying to use more of the powdered detergent and went back to 2 washes, using some det in each wash, but I don't want to saturate my dipes with the det either and have to do more rinses. I just want my nice looking diapers back. Baby poo'd in 4 or 5 BRAND NEW diapers and they are all stained, even though they were washed in under 2 days, and dunked in toilet before wash, etc. Ack!
