Legos were a staple in my home growing up with both an older and younger brother, and I never wanted to be left out. My toddler is a little young to fully appreciate this movie, although she sat and watched it with me, but it will only be time before they make their way in to our home. This new full length animated movie is perfect for your school-aged kids and I will admit it, my husband and I felt like kids again as we watched this since Legos were a part of both our childhoods.
It’s almost unbelievable that it is the first time they have released a full-length Legos movie on DVD, isn’t it? A Legos movie would have been a huge hit in our home growing up and both my brothers, in particular, would have gone crazy for this! My younger brother, who is now in college, is coming out to stay with us for a month in May, so I will be sure to pop it in for him to see when he is here. I know he will appreciate it and use my daughter as an excuse to watch it more than once, I’m sure.
So whether your children have Legos in their playroom now or not, this is an action-packed, family-friendly feature will be sure to please both kids and us 80’s-era moms and dads alike.
