Dear Ellen (for Operation Fluffy)

Dear Ellen,

You are probably a little baffled by all the #operationfluffy and #clothdiapers hashtags on twitter tweeting to you, and wondering what is all the fuss about cloth diapers?! Well I can tell you from my personal experience using cloth diapers and the honor I have reviewing dozens of different brands and styles that they are indeed something to fuss about.

There are a lot of reasons why cloth diapers were be awesome on your show. I could get into all the environmental benefits, although there is always debate on this topic, but I personally believe that it is an environmentally conscious choice if you consider the multiple children that can be diapered with cloth diapers. You are also saving tons of waste from filling landfills and taking hundreds of years to decompose, an issue our children (your future fans) will have to face as adults.

This brings up another great point. Our children are our future and your future fans! What better way to get a new, younger generation following your show and a wider audience who’s interest may be perked by a different topic than you may have covered thus far. What better way to LAUGH (you have to admit, the topic of poop will make anyone giggle), diaper DANCE and CONQUER tight budgets, environmental concerns and fashion faux pas (paper underwear, a.k.a. disposables are SO not “in”).

And let’s face it, NO ONE can deny the financial benefits to cloth diapering, which leave extra money in the budget for other things. Savings, paying off debt, making home improvements…add up the thousands of dollars you can save per child and there are many places this money can go to help individual families and the economy. And my favorite financial perk is that I get to SHOP for adorable prints, styles and different fabrics while SAVING money. And you can use them on multiple children and still sell many of them after your children are potty trained and get some of your money back!

The last and possibly my most favorite reason why cloth diapers should be featured on your show is that they are just plain fluffylicious. They come in dozens of different fabrics, hundreds of different colors, patterns, shapes and styles and once you start, there’s no going back! They are soft and adorable and so much cuter than crinkly paper disposables. I can guarantee you a show full of babies in disposable diapers would be cute, but a show with babies dancing in CLOTH DIAPERS will be far more colorful, adorable, full of variety (disposable diapers are B-O-R-I-N-G), fluffy, irresistible and also make a point to educate and increase awareness in the country that cloth diapers are not what they used to be.

Modern cloth diapers are trendy, economical, easy-to-use and can be just as convenient while helping families and babies to LAUGH, DANCE and CONQUER
