I have been waiting for months to share this new product with you! They recently launched their BPA-free version, which I waited patiently to review and I am thrilled to share it with you. The Baby Dipper is a triangular-shaped bowl with a contoured interior, designed to help babies learn to self-feed and give caregivers a free hand. The base of the bowl is non slip and it is heavier than a regular bowl to avoid sliding and the Baby Dipper is also translucent so you and your toddler can see the contents of the food.
My toddler did very well with this bowl and the utensils were also a good size for her hands and the bowl. My daughter insisted on the point of the triangle being at the top, which is not a huge deal, but goes against the way the interior of the bowl was mean to face to make scooping easier. She is stubborn and who am I to tell her the “right” way to do it, if she’s getting the food just fine. The inside of the bowl is contoured so that you face the lowest point towards you (or your toddler if they are self feeding) and get every last bit of food out when feeding your infant or helping your toddler.
My husband, daughter and I all liked this bowl and would recommend it to families with babies and toddlers, especially now that it is BPA free. It was easy to wash so you could get away with only having one, depending on your budget, but two or more would be more convenient if you plan on exclusively using these bowls. This would also be a great shower or Baby’s 1 st Birthday gift.
