When I started transitioning more of our home towards greener or organic products, I started with my daughter as her skin is so vulnerable and we all want what’s best for our children, don’t we? Well I have started and continue to take the steps towards treating my body with the same respect and holding myself to the same standards I set for my daughter. Bath and body products are packed with all sorts of chemicals and artificial ingredients that I know may not be the best for me and was thrilled to learn about Fresh Organics’ bath products, including their bubble bath petals.
When I was learning more about Fresh Organics Family Bath and Body line I read the following about their bubble bath products:
Almost all commercial bubble bath uses Cocamide DEA – a foaming agent that is a known hormone disrupter and carcinogen. Also most bubble bath contains some variation of Sodium Lauryl or Laureth Sulfate, which can cause permanent eye damage (even without getting in eyes) and can penetrate the skin to affect systemic tissues and cause damage to the immune system. Organic Bath Bubble Bath Petals contain no variation of SLS or DEA but utilize more expensive and gentler foaming agents. We use natural colors and fragrance – not petroleum bi-products. We also use a very safe preservative system that contains no Parabens, formaldehyde or other suspected carcinogens.
Eeek. I am definitely one to take research and information I read with a grain of salt, since studies always tend to show different things or change over time; however, after reading this description I am definitely sticking to products that I know do not contain harmful or questionable ingredients, but also ones that contain ingredients that are good for my body. Fresh Organics chooses only to carry products that are not just organic, but that stay clear of their Chemicals to Avoid list.

Bubble Bath Roses, which are a perfect gift or luxury for any special occasion, and the Bubble Bath Petals are perfect all year round for a luxurious and moisturizing bubble bath any day of the week. Both the roses and petals dissolve under running water and create a lovely, foamy bubble bath and smell great. The petals do not bubble up to the extreme of most commercial bubble baths, but I actually prefer the subtler bubbles as I can put on my bath jets without creating bubbles up to the ceiling. I am seriously considering buying some of their Calming Bubble Bath in because my 2 year old LOVES bubble baths but rarely gets them because I hate thought of all those nasty chemicals all over his body!
