I adore leggings. It makes diaper changes a breeze and we use them a lot when we’re at home. It is almost impossible to get my daughter to sit still for diaper changes, and one less layer of clothing to worry about putting back on the easier it is for us. My daughter has chubby legs, however, so we weren’t able to use the couple of pairs we had (of a different brand) for very long. I was excited to see when we received our sample pair that the elastic was wider, stretchier, and they seems a smidge longer than the pairs we had previously used. They fit beautifully! You can see in the picture above that they will hug baby’s thighs to stay on and be a little looser on the bottom. This is perfect for when they grow older and the Leg Huggers are placed below the knees and their ankles have room to grow.
I also love that these are made with a bamboo blend of materials, helping to wick away moisture, resist stains and discourage bacteria with its antibacterial properties. Bamboo is also said to have natural UV protection and is a sustainable material. I also love to put these on my daughter under her pants when we go out in the cold winter weather and have even tossed them on my arms when I needed just a little added warmth. I loved how versatile they were and how adorable the prints were, and would highly recommend these to any family. I can guarantee you it will be one of the only, if not the only pieces of clothing your child can wear from birth to adulthood.
