Diaper Tips Tuesday: Favorite Wipes Solutions & Recipes

Week 3:
What is your favorite Cloth Wipes solution and/or recipe?

I will write more about reviews of different solutions and other recipes later in the week, but I want to share my easiest cloth wipes solution recipes for my Diaper Tips Tuesday. Two ingredients and one of the ingredients is water!

Solution #1
1 cup water (distilled recommended)
1/8 teaspoon Maggies Liquid Soapnuts

Solution #2
1 cup water (distilled recommended)
2 Tablespoons Dr. Bronners Pure Castile Soap (I use the unscented baby mild version, but it is available in scents using organic essential oils if you’d prefer scented).

Double the recipe if needed for your wipes warmer or solution bottle. You can also make a week’s worth and store the extras in the fridge.

What are your favorite wipes solution recipes, solutions or cubes? Share them in a blog article linked below or leave a comment!

  1. I use:
    2 Tbsp baby wash (Aveeno)
2 Tbsp baby oil (lavender scented)
    2 cups water
    1-2 drops tea tree oil

  2. I just do a combination of a tbsp of baby oil and enough water to wet my wipes in the bag. I use a ziptop bag and generally go through all of the wipes in a week.

  3. I'm not sure if Cub has an allergy or not, but we have been using WeeEssentials soap bits for our wipe solution. I LOVE the different scents you can get, but I use only ONE cube vs. the two that is recommended. Sometimes I only use just water. Just depends. :)
