My New Goodies From Sprouting Up

I taught a cloth diaper workshop this morning over at Sprouting Up in Saint James, MO and came home with some goodies! Call it retail therapy or whatever you’d like, but it’s always fun getting new stuff for my DD and fluff. Today I came home with a value-sized bottle of unscented Dr. Bronners Natural Castile soap which is multi-purpose, but I plan to make a wipes solution with it and use it at bathtime. I chose unscented, because I couldn’t decide and this way I can add my own essential oil to scent it and change the scent with my mood! I also got a handcarved maple wood baby spoon I have been eyeing at her store for MONTHS, a pair of i-Walk Bobux shoes and a Planetwise pail liner to compare to my Wahmies liner I *heart* so much (plus I wanted an extra liner for wash day).

I also had the pleasure of meeting Tiffany from Monkey See Monkey Do who drove TWO AND A HALF HOURS to come to the workshop and to meet me and the other mamas. She brought some of her handmade goodies and I think the most popular item everyone went gaga over were her bibs. So all in all it was an exhausting day for DD, DH and me but it’s always fun meeting new mamas and being able to not only share my knowledge, but add to it by learning about everyone else’s experiences. And now I get to play the mad scientist and add to my wipes solution recipes. Stay tuned as I will be posting some later this month 😉

    I just love the wooden spoon that is by far the cutest thing ever. I would love to get one of those.

    I wish we had diaper workshops in my area. {Tulsa, Ok}
