Tiny Bubbles Laundry Detergent Review

I’ve been reviewing the new Tiny Bubbles Laundry Detergent from The Natural Baby Company and have been pleasantly surprised. I typically am not a powder detergent gal, but I found it easy to use and that it washed my diapers well. As many of you know, it is best if you try and use the same kind of detergent for most of your laundry when using cloth diapers, so that residues from other detergents don’t keep lurking back into your machine or have any chemical reactions. So this laundry is an excellent choice for a detergent that is safe for cloth diapers and great for all of your laundry.

One of the “pros” is that the box is made of cardboard so it is recyclable, but a “con” is that once it’s opened you can’t get the lid to secure tightly. I have mine in a ziplock bag to keep the powder contained and to keep any moisture out. The only other struggle I had was digging out the laundry scoop which was, of course, on the bottom of the box!! The other “pros” are that they meet all the “free of….” requirements of a cloth diaper detergent, but also is completely biodegradable, low residue, ultra-concentrated and safe for sensitive skin.
I have come to smell a difference when using Tide Free vs. other detergents like Maggie’s Soapnuts (I *heart* the liquid version with tea tree and lavendar oils) although Tide Free is also an acceptable choice to use with cloth diapers (at least the HE version in my experience). There was no “scent” after using this detergent so I know that my laundry is clean and free of synthetic materials.

Stock up to be eligible for free shipping from The Natural Baby Website and you will be washing your nappies for pennies a load. .22 cents to be exact. Also check out my new laundry comparison chart for my top 5 detergent choices for cloth diapers that can be used with all of your laundry.

A box of Tiny Bubbles detergent was provided by the Natural Baby Co. for this review.

  1. I have used Crunchy Clean detergent, both Green type and Cloth Diaper type. I have tried almost all of the products you have mentioned and found Crunchy Clean to be the best. My clothes are always spotless once they get out of the wash machine (my husband is a mechanic so he gets dirty). Also, in regards to customer service, CC is much easier to get along with get a hold of if I have any questions. I guess it may be a matter of opinion, but I will not turn back now that I have found Crunchy Clean.
