  1. I can't live without my Calyx (http://mamabydesign.com/shop/) or my Slinglings (http://www.slinglings.com/). I use my Slinglings constantly for hip-carrying my toddler when we are running errands, and I'm always being asked where I got it!

I have a BabyHawk mei tai that I absolutely love! i could never get the hang of my HotSling so I was really leery of spending that much on another carrier, but I did, and I'm glad. I love going for walks with my daughter in it, and having my hands free (although I usually walk hugging her). When I go into stores, everyone has to come over and peek in a her.

And as an added bonus, my husband uses it too. I was um…tired of the baby the other day (she was teething), so he took her out to clean the car with him. He put her in the BabyHawk and she 'helped' him. I might have been grumpy and sick of her crying (and alternatively grumpy with him due to her teething), but the image of him carrying her in the BabyHawk is one I'll always remember.

(Sorry for the long comment, my mouth is running away with my fingers today)

I love love love my Ellaroo!!! I think it is fabulous and easy, though it does have a small learning curve. And, even though you'd never have your 6th grader strapped to your back, it's nice to know it goes from newborn to 100lbs! :)

  4. I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I dont know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

I love my baby bjorn but I would like to try to find one that I could do both front and back carrying along with bigger children. I get frustrated. it is perfect for babies but just over a 1 year old and they are too big.
