Giveaway #1 (Closed)

In order to take this blog to the next level, I am having my first giveaway! I will be giving away one small Swaddlebees wetbag in your choice of butter or mint blue. These are not just for cloth diapers, but are great for lunches, wet swimsuits, dirty shoes and anything else you can think of!

I plan on having featured WAHMs (Work At Home Moms), guest entries and topics (including project ideas and sewing tips) during the week and hope to be able to review new products and offer future giveaways.

However, to make this successful I need more followers and traffic on this blog. The more traffic I have on my blog the more leverage I will have in convincing WAHMs and companies to offer discounts or free products.

So this is how the giveaway works: make ONE comment on this post about a diaper review on my blog that was helpful to you, for one entry into the give away.

For additional entries you may do one of the following:

*Become a follower of this blog for ONE additional entry (you must be a public follower).

*Post about my blog or giveaway on your blog or website (you must mention you have done this in your comment on this post and include the address for me to confirm you have done this) and get ONE additional entry.

*E-mail your friends about my website or giveaway and CC: me to the email (emi.takagi@gmail.com) for ONE additional entry.

*Get an additional entry for every friend that becomes a public follower BUT they must specify they were referred by you in their comment on this entry.

*If you live locally, book a FREE CLOTH DIAPER WORKSHOP before June 30, 2009 and get FIVE additional entries.

*Post about my blog on Facebook or Twitter for up to TWO additional entries (if you have both). Again, you must comment on this entry that you have done this.

*Offer a giveaway or discount for my blog for THREE additional entries (email be about this).

Good luck to you all. The winner will be drawn on July 1, 2009.

In the meantime, contact me if you are interested in doing a guest entry on this blog or promoting your WAHM products/business. Please spread the word!

I liked your Happy Heinys review, and your Velcro vs. Snaps article. I’m stocking up on cloth diapers and it’s helpful to read reviews of the pros and cons of different kinds.

Can I recommend you make a blog button available? I’d post it on my blog if you had one.

  7. I found the post about prefolds helpful. I have to say that I really never knew what they were. I am generally a pocket diaper kind of girl with a few AIO’s thrown in. Maybe I will get brave and branch out!

I like the Swaddelbees review because it was love at first sight for me. Your review taught me that they are a little pricey so I hope I will be able to buy these!

I like your review on Swaddlebees diapers. After reading it, it makes more sense to me why they are so much more expensive. Sounds like a good investment. Thanks!

  27. I just started cloth diapering my daughter about a month ago with fuzzi bunz. It was helpful for me to read about using less detergent and other ideas for cutting down on diaper rash which has exploded since I started with CDs. Thanks!

  28. I'm pregnant and trying to build a stash. Right now I'm leaning to pockets for ease of use and convincing husband and family. I enjoyed your thirsties review. It seems that most experienced users prefer snaps.

  29. I like the velcro vs snaps post. I do feel most people go for velcro but snaps are soo much better!!
I follow you and I am a WAHM.

  30. Heather says:

I appreciated learning more about Velcro in the Velcro vs snaps article since all I have are snaps. Velcro might be nice for my wiggly toddler…but shorter lifespan and dryer snags are big minuses. Thanks!

  32. Back in the day (25 years ago), I used cloth diapers because they are less expensive and more environmentally sound than disposables. I had a wool cover that I used for days and plastic pants for nights.

I liked your article on how to wash cds at http://theclothdiaperreport.blogspot.com/2009/06/washing-your-diapers.html. I have a few cd and I think the reason they were not getting clean was the way I was washing them. Thanks for the info.

  34. I really enjoyed the Happy Heinys review.
